Every online business needs good content on their website, and experts like Danny DeMichele say this is one of the first things they discuss with their clients when they start marketing campaigns to achieve high ranking in the search engines.? Online copy just needs to be engaging and filled with an appropriate amount of keywords.? Many online business owners don’t know the first thing about writing search engine friendly content, though, which is why they turn to consultants and copywriting firms to help with this area.

As Danny DeMichele commented in a recent online post, the first step to writing good online copy for your website is to write for the consumer as if you are making a sales presentation without any concern for the keywords.? Then once this is over, some of the generic words can be replaced with specific keyword phrases that will help the site rank higher in the search engines in a shorter period of time.? This way the text will get visitors to the site with SEO and engage readers once they’re on the site with engaging and interesting content.

According to Danny DeMichele, there are three aspects to a well-written piece of SEO copy.? First of all, you must write it with the end goal of selling something to the potential customer, with catchy and easily readable content that will keep visitors interested in the site.? The second aspect to well-written SEO copy is research to find the best keywords to target for this particular content considering the industry and what the most competitive search terms are.? And the final aspect is being able to insert the chosen relevant keywords appropriately and naturally to make the content more descriptive toward the long tail without overstuffing.? With all these bases covered, the copy should help meet your online goals.

Of course good content is the key to a successfull seo campaign; let’s take social bookmarks for example – if the submitted website’s description is interesting then people will want to read more and click the link, thus the traffic will increase….right?
